Snail Mail

If you think I'm too obsessive, well, here's a star for you! Yes, yes I am, actually. Whether or not it's a good thing, it's up to you to decide on that. *wink*

Lately, I've been so obsessed with snail mail! I got bored in Math class once, and just started writing a letter to one of my friends. I visited Philpost last Friday, and when I found out that it only costs P12 to send a letter all the way to Roxas, I started writing even more letters that night.

BK2BK Cheerdance Champions!

I am an inconsistent blogger. If this were my high school reflection notebook, Sr. Agnes would have given me an NI. This is a super duper late post regarding the Cheerdance Competition. Anyhoo, here's a picture of the UP Pep:

Overall champions! Woohoo! I'm sorry, I could find no words to describe how amazing their performance was. :( Swear!! Here's a video, though, in case you missed it on tv:

Say hello to my favorite pair of shoes! Hello, Carina's favorite pair of shoes!
These were given to me by my ninang last Christmas, which means they're about to turn a year old! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Uhhh...Why am I singing to a pair of shoes? Sorry, sorry, this isn't exactly the perfect place to vent my craziness.

Anyway, I've only worn these for about five times in school. First of all, I'm not even that fashionable. Yes, I like splurging for clothes, but it doesn't mean I'm into fashion whatsoever. I like dressing up at times though, but still, I'd always pick comfort first. I don't have the body to rock what's considered fashionable in today's era. If I wore something loose, I'd look fatter. If I wore something tight, I'd still look fatter. Eeek!

Another reason why I don't wear these to school is because of the weather. The weather here in Manila is bipolar, very unpredictable. One moment it's really hot and you're sweating and itching all over, and the next, it's raining cats and dogs. I'd rather walk barefoot than sacrifice my pretty shoesies!

I'm actually thinking of buying another pair of a different color. Hmm...Suggestions, anyone?
I've joined this "Assumptionista ka kung..." group on Facebook recently. It's fun reading old girls' posts there, and thinking "Wow, I used to do that too." Here are a few posts I want to share:

Assumptionista ka kung...

"Kung wala ka hanky ang cravat mo gna himo mo panyo, pantrapo sa balhas sa agtang, basa baba kag sa sip-on mo. ;-)" - Estelle Zerrudo
"kung indi mo pa pag tapuson imo projects/assignments on time kay bal an mo may deadliest deadline :))" - Wiki Minerva
"Ga Silence Period wla ka ga ubra Reflection. Hahaha" - Emma Haro
"Assumptionista kaw kng, mis can wala ga lain matyag mu ga tulog ka sa clinic sa 2nd flr.. Para nd maka attend klase.." - Kristine Ivy Jabon
"padamo-damo kamo dala bulong mag medicine drive." - Ac-Ac Latosa Cofreros
"nasadjahan kmo kng my medical or dental check-up kmo ky mkagwa ka sa klase kg gapahinay-hinay kmo lakat kng pbalik na sa room." - Jeph Justalero

Hahaha! Hey, these are all for fun, okay? How I miss high school!

I printed a 2011 calendar on a piece of paper, and stuck it on my wall. Everyday, I would mark an X to signify the end of a day and the beginning of another. Well, let me just tell you I've got 92 x's in there, which means I've been in Manila for 89 days already, minus the 3 days I spent at home.
I'm on my 13th week of classes already. No wonder it's one of, if not the busiest weeks ever! We have this Math assignment that we have to answer in a blue book and erasures will not be counted. It's "all or nothing", as Ma'am Arias would very much like to put it. Let me just tell you I was almost done with it last night, until I accidentally plotted a point on the wrong part of the plane. Just a point, and now I have to repeat everything again. I simply do not have the patience for this, but I'm not going to let laziness overcome my drive for an uno in Math. For one point, I am going to repeat everything. I can do this!
Four more weeks of classes to go, and I could again, finally enjoy the comfort of being home!
