Merry Christmas, Gaga!

We just had the awesoMMEst Christmas party ever. Sad to say it was the last we had. Ngaaaw. We exchanged free things in life. As you can see in my profile, I enjoy the free things in life. Okay, that didn't have a connection. HEH, leave me alone! ._.

I received a very long hug from Stephanie "Fifi" Flores! Thank you, Fifi. It made me feel 6,000,000 times better!

I gave Deeana Colocar this picture of Lady Gaga with a message printed at the back:

"I am blessed to have met someone as beautiful and life-giving as you are. I will always remember you for being the first person I talked to on the first day of being in high school I know we've once walked out from each other's lives and lost track, but I'm glad we've found the road to each other again. (Char!) For that, I am overjoyed. You were once my friend, and will always be. I hope this picture tickles your fancy. I give this to you with all my heart. Feliz navidad, mi amiga!"
After the Christmas party, we all hugged our friends goodbye, and when I hugged Deeana, she started to cry, and I sailed with her. I didn't know if I was happy or sad. I didn't know if those were tears of joy or sadness. I think it was more of say, nostalgia.- after remembering all those happy memories together. I started to cry even more when I hugged my superbuddies, Marj and China. I'm not being biased or whatso, but they're the type of friends you'd never have awkward moments with, and help you get a life out of the *dun dun duuuuuun* cave. Hey, I love all my other friends, too. Plus, I don't love friends for different reasons. I love them because they are my friends. You are my friend. Back to hugging, I even cried some more when I started hugging my putatoes, Kristi, Cheska, and Monique! I love you guys with all my being! I love you this *stretches arms and hits your faces, like what Kristi does* much!

Merry Christmas, everyone.

Julia Veronica Therese

Ngaaaw, just look how sweet my little sister, Julia, is. We may be fighting all the time, but I do miss this little kid, too, her asking me to apply makeup on her, her stealing my candy, her opening my bag for makeup, her begging me to text my friends, her new wardrobe every week, her being a spoiled brat, her love for manicure, and all her crazy antics.

Day 01

Your current relationship, if single discuss how single life is.

I'm single and I'm really happy with it. I couldn't really describe how single life is because I've never been in a relationship before, and I don't plan to until I finish high school. HEH. D: IDK anymore. KBYE.

30-Day Challenge! :> Are you brave enough?

The curls are back. Oh noes! ._.
I don't know how I'm supposed to be feeling right now, because I miss my messy hair and I miss my straight hair, too. I don't know why I posted a picture of myself here. I don't know why I'm typing this right now. I don't know why I don't know.

French Cuisine

The deadline for our HCRA project is tomorrow, and I've only started making it tonight...and I'm done. I'm finally done. Having fought with the unreliable internet connection, cutting long bond paper into short, trying to control stress to avoid LBM, and having only 2 sockets beside my bed (which means I had to unplug the electric fan and I'm sweating like a lemon right now), I am happy I'm finally done!

I am proud to present to you the menu of "Rissolées et les amis" which, translated in English is "Hash Brown and friends". Taadaa! Before that, I shall tell you why I came up with this imaginary restaurant. It's a long story and it's off topic, but I'm sharing it anyway. Remember last year when Chris Brown beat up Rihanna? Well, Cheska and I were talking (or texting, rather) about that incident and sarcastically assumed that Rihanna was pregnant to a boy, Hash. Hash Brown. So, I am "Hashy" and Cheska's "Browny".HAHAHAHA. Okay, corny.

Here is the outside cover(?) of our menu. I would like to thank Jo for sponsoring the striped wrapper and bond paper, and my mom for the money used to buy the folder and tracing paper.

Here is the first page of the menu. I got this graphic from We Heart It and printed it on tracing paper, which came out really pretty. I placed it on top of plain paper with the name of the imaginary restaurant and our names printed on it.

This is the mess I made. I'm sorry, Dadong!

It looked kind of bare, so I decided to put a bow (which made it look weird).

Hallelujah! You don't know how happy I am. I'm really tired right now, 'cos I haven't had a good rest since PRISAA. I can barely feel my left arm and my back hurts.

Go, Carina.

I'm scared for 2012. I know you wouldn't understand why, but I see a connection. I couldn't tell you because I'm not so cure about it. It does make sense, though. It really does. I won't be spreading the word, because I don't want to be assuming. I've only told Zchiara about this, and I hope she keeps it a secret. D:
When I like my blog's skin, I tend to blog more often even if I don't make sense anymore. Hello. Hahaha! Random brainstorming...

Random no. 1: I feel bad for Domz, who got mugged and held at gunpoint today. Her camera and gear were stolen. Poor Domz. She deserves a hug! >:D<

Random no. 2: I don't think I'm in my right state of mind today. Earlier, I just went out and rode the jeep without planning where to go. Midway, I thought of dropping by at the Atrium, but I missed the unloading area, so I went straight to SM City instead. If you're wondering what I did there, so am I. Nothing. That's what I did. I was there for a few minutes, braving my way through crowds. Crowds disgust me. I was supposed to meet up with Kristi, but it didn't happen. I rode a taxi home and spent P65 for absolutely nothing.

Random no. 3: I am waaay too stressed out. I still haven't started on my HCRA project. I'm done with Economics, but I am yet to memorize.

Random no. 4: My hair's getting curly again. My old hair's back. I need some taming to do!

Random no. 5: I am sleep-deprived. I slept for only 4 hours last night. Maybe that's why I'm sort of brain-dead today.

Random no. 6: I like post-its.

Random no. 7: I have run out of random thoughts.

So I guess I'm ending here.
What now?

To Cheska

This post is for Cheska, for camwhoring (HEH, D: can't spell) using my phone. SAAAY CHEESE! *cheese*

It would be really cool if I had a pair of Doc Martens with a floral print like this. I've gone online shopping, and I haven't found a pair exactly like these.

How depressing.

I found another one I really liked, though. An 8 eye boot with a Sanrio print. Sad fact: it's sold out!

Another thing to be depressed about.
I finally took time to change my blog's layout. My blog is still under construction. I'm really busy with schoolwork right now, so please bear with me. I'll be adding a tagboard someday, and maybe I'll put on some music, too.

Adios!

For Economics

In my research, I found out that since World War II, the Philippine Economy has been going down. Before the World War, we were one of the richest countries in Asia, next to Japan. After the war, economic growth was rapid, though it slowed down during the time of the Marcos regime. Since then, our economy has become a rollercoaster ride. It goes up, then goes down, then it goes loop to loop.

Two years ago, we went down due to global financial crisis. Last year, the ride wasn’t really going fast, because our GDP growth was only by 0.9%. In addition to that, our OFWs’ remittances only increased at a 5.6% pace.
In my opinion, we are now on the point where we acquire momentum for us to go up.

According to World Bank, the Philippines is the 4th largest economy in South East Asia and the 35th in the world by purchasing power parity. For the first quarter of 2010, our GDP has grown by 7.3%. Unexpectedly, our GDP has grown 7.9% at the end of the second quarter. Now, our OFWs’ remittances are better than expected and rose to $17.3 billion. It has been a big help to the economy to avoid recession and support the balance of payments and international reserves. Our BPO industry currently accounts for about 15% of the global outsourcing market, and has been the fastest-growing segment of our economy.

You could help our “rollercoaster” economy go up again and defy gravity by doing one simple thing. Patronize local products. Buy safeguard instead of Dove, or buy V-cut instead of ruffles. If you come to think about it, you could save a lot – and it doesn’t only end there. It shows that you’ve cast your vote for local products, which is a big contribution to the further development of our economy. You are a citizen of the Philippines. Do something.

We were told to do this yesterday and we have to memorize it for Monday. Great. Let's just put it this way: Sir Pedroso believes in our abilities!
I like posting my assignments here, y'know. I know they're boring but I like seeing long articles in my blog. Hee.

Dominique Marie

This is Dominique Marie Mann Tiu. Hello, Domz. I've been stalking you for quite a while now.

Dear Domz, I'm sorry for stealing your pictures. You're just so pretty.

You're smart, you're pretty, you're witty, you dress well. I wish I were like you! Ngaww!

No, I'm not lesbian. (YUCK)

Just a note: Hahaha. Okay, I'm happy with who (or what) I am right now. :) So wishing to be like Domz is only half true. *u*
All I want for Christmas is you.

I can't believe mom's ordering a pair of Docs for me. Mom, ordering a pair of Docs for me. That's... crazy. Yes, she is ordering a pair of Docs for me. Thank you, mom! It's going to be the best Christmas present ever! What makes it even better is that Dominique Tiu also wants a pair of white Docs! Oooh, Domz!

To overcome your fear, face it. This is exactly what I did. It wasn't that easy though. I had to take in 6,000,000 liters of courage and a cup of encouragement before I had to get my lazy butt of my seat. But that didn't matter. It's that I did what I had to do - and that was to speak in front of 200-something eyes staring wide-open at me. Yay, I'm happy for myself.
